Don’t Have A Pressure Washer? Give This A Try. | All Natural Brick Cleaner
Pressure washers are great! I have absolutely not complaints about them. But we don’t currently own one. If you are hyper impatient like me and don’t feeling like figuring out how to go get a power washer – try this out.
It super easy – all you will need is:
Borax
Baking Soda
Vinegar
Water
and some sort of tool to scrub the brick
It’s simple but gives fantastic results. I’ve used this on our indoor fireplace and it worked like a charm. Recently, we were cleaning up the outdoor brick patio power washer-less. We were very excited with how it turned out.
Now the vinegar can be optional, but we found it works so much better with the vinegar.
- Mix together equal parts borax and baking soda.
- Sprinkle the mixture over your brick surface then spray with the vinegar. Allow to sit for 3-5 minutes.
- Then scrub the surface with a hard brush. (or if it’s a large area you can use a broom)
- Then rinse with water and allow to dry.
Tada!

Anyone noticing that I use baking soda and vinegar for everything? I’m not going to lie. I am trying to convert you.
I’m only half joking.
We were very happy with how this turned out, and if you are impatient like us and give this a try let us know!
Thank-you so much for taking time out of your day to hang out here.
