About Me

FarmhousePosey is honestly a love letter to my grandmothers.

Growing up they tried their hardest to teach this hyperactive impulsive little girl simple handmade living.​

For the first couple years of marriage and being a mother, I felt pretty lost. Everything I did came from a place of survival and convenience. After I had a very real moment with God, I found all those lessons my grandmothers taught me so long ago, stored in the back of my mind.

​​​I am passionate about simplifying my life to better focus on what God has given me as well as living a handmade and healthy lifestyle. My goal is to inspire you to do the same.

Nicole - Editor and Chief
I am a wife and mom of four. We have dogs, cats, and horses currently, but I'm always trying to talk my husband into more animals. I homeschool my twin boys, while working as a freelance ghost writer.

Joanna - Content Director
I am a preschool teacher and also one of seven children. I like to think of myself as a modern day MacGyver. I love doing DIY projects and being creative with materials that I have around the house.

Joe - Editor
I am a Program Manager for a Christian camp. I enjoy working on home projects, playing with my children, and vacationing in Outer Banks to which my family has been going for over 30 years. I am also married to Nicole so she has roped me into making all of the final edits on projects.
